To ensure that residents of GenCare communities live in healthy and safe environments.

The International Council of Active Aging (ICAA) has long said that we should consider the way we age, and live life to the fullest extend possible, within all areas of life. Living within the dimensions of life: spiritual, physical, emotional, intellectual, professional and social, equate to living with PURPOSE. Regardless of the generation you fall within; our goal is to age gracefully, with dignity and independence. This can be summed up as the necessary ingredients to living life to its fullest... We recently had a fantastic educational seminar at GenCare of Renton- The Lodge on January 9th brought to you by Washington Care Center, Flavia Lagrange. Flavia wants everyone to be educated on the ins and outs of Rehabilitation services after a hospitalization if you have a medical crisis and require this type of care. She spoke about the following topics:
Are you informed about Skilled Nursing Facilities and Sub–Acute/Post-Acute Rehab after a hospitalization?
Do you know what Medicare pays if you needed a stay in a Post-Acute rehab unit?
Do you know the difference between Skilled Nursing Care and Assisted Living?
If you missed our presentation and would like information on this topic, we would be happy to mail you a flyer with all the details. Simply give us a call at 425-243-2945 to request your copy.

You'll enjoy new friends and have the old ones over!
Whole Life Health Services
We have taken assisted living to a new level with our Whole Life Health Services program. We nurture and care for our resident's health and wellness through an integrated approach of mind, body and spirit. We believe focusing on the overall wellness of our residents will in turn allow them to live healthier and fuller lives.
Trust is vital to our resident's health and happiness; our residents are able to develop positive, trusting relationships with their caregiver through our Whole Life Health Services program. Our continuity and retention of staff members only strengthens our program.
The GenCare difference:
Integrated Care - We nurture our resident's mind, body, and spirit through our Whole Live Living program that includes Culinary, Vitality, Stay Sharp and Purpose.
Staffing - Our loving staff is assigned to a small group of residents rather than tasks.
Technology - Using E-technology to track our resident’s activities and needs proves to be successful in providing excellence in care.
